Why am I running?

LEADERSHIP!

Wisconsin government is backwards. Right now, we are serving government, rather than government serving us. Government is climbing a ladder of "unsustainability". You and I are holding the base of the ladder, while government climbs higher and higher. The ladder is tipping and breaking, requiring more effort (taxes) from us to support it.

My top priorities are:

» Bring local, common sense leadership to Wisconsin state government

» Job creation; change the job climate in Wisconsin

» Stop running structural deficits, only spend what we have

» No new taxes; new taxes are not the answer, prioritizing spending is

» Proactively communicate with local leaders

» Change government hand-outs to government giving people a helping hand-up;
         attach expectations for those receiving government help

» Compare and contrast public sector jobs with private sector jobs

» Think both short-term and long-term when making decisions
